Good Feeding And Management Strategies (GOFAMS) consists of a basket of technologies for the farming community to augment milk production. Besides milk production, it also contributes substantially to reducing the emission intensity of methane. It consists of various technologies starting from regular deworming of the herd to improved feeding and management practices. By selectively adapting the potential technologies such as probiotics, forages, probiotic-yeast mix, bypass protein and Urea Molasses Multi-Nutrient Block (UMMB) one can improve the efficiency of animal production. GOFAMS is a unique strategy to promote climate-resilient Dairy farming.
