Christian Agency for Rural Development (CARD) aligned with the developmental wing of Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar has dawned into its 43rd year since its formation in 1977 and a registered NGO; is the host institution of KVK, Pathanamthitta.
CARD acts as the connecting link between the various social, cultural and economic opportunities, the rural communities are deprived of. Our participation and timely interventions have helped in access to various prospects in life and thus created variations of conventional attitude in the minds of the rural folks.

Christian Agency for Rural Development (CARD) works towards a world of communities where poverty and injustice no longer exists and all people enjoy a life of sustainable relations with one another, based on the exercise of love, justice, participation and freedom.
Mission:
In Christ with the people: - CARD engages in dedicated service in Christ to work with the poor and marginalized people of India in the process of empowerment by capacity building through education, skill training, advocacy of people’s organization and livelihood support programmes that enable them to move towards achieving a community that enjoys freedom from poverty, protects human dignity, gender equality and environmental sustainability.
