Microgreens
Microgreens are leafy vegetables or salad crops that are harvested at a very early stage. While they are just a couple of weeks old and about 1 -3 inches tall. Microgreens are considered as baby plants falling between a sprout and baby greens. Microgreens are harvested 7-21 days after germination. They are packed with nutrients. They contain higher vitamin, mineral and antioxidant levels than the same quantity of mature greens. Crops like Paddy, Wheat, Maize, Foxtail Millet, Beans, Pulses, Sunflower, Mustard, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Carrot, Radish, Beetroot, Amaranthus, Coriander, and Fenugreek can be grown as microgreens.
